We are excited to announce Zoe Boekbinder and Erica Russo performing one night only at The Brooklyn! Coming from New Orleans and Ashville, this is a rare opportunity to see these two perform in Providence! Get your tickets early and reserve your seat!
Zoe volunteered teaching music in a maximum security, men's prison, for nearly five years. They collaborated with incarcerated poets, rappers, and songwriters. Zoe is working with Ani DiFranco (as producer) on an album, that is the Prison Music Project, which consists of these songs. It releases in May of 2020.
They have performed with: Amanda Palmer, Ani DiFranco, Kaki King, Mal Blum and Neil Gaiman.
"Zoe Boekbinder opens their mouth, and the voice that comes out is ageless, beautiful, hearbreaking and wise. Zoe looks so young, and so innocent. I think they kidnapped a marvelous singer from long ago Paris, and stole her voice. It's the only explanation." Neil Gaiman
Coming off a multi-city European Tour and performing with Zoe is Erica Russo.
